Hertz HTX 8H S-FL-G HTX 8" 200W RMS 4-Ohm Marine Tower Horn-Loaded Compression Driver Speaker with RGB LED Lighting, Flat Mount, Sport Grey, Each (78049012)

The Hertz HTX 8H S-FL-G is an individually sold 8-inch marine tower speaker for open-air boat audio. Its flat mount installation design and sport grey styling are tailored to the tower/arch mounting configuration, while integrated RGB illumination brings coordinated lighting to the speaker enclosure. Its common-motor compression driver and engineered waveguide support high-efficiency, long-distance sound projection.

Key Features

• Sold individually as one tower speaker, not a pair.
• Continuous power handling: 200W RMS; peak power handling: 400W.
• 4-ohm impedance for appropriately rated marine amplifiers.
• Integrated multicolor RGB LED lighting; compatible controller selected separately.
• IP65 water-jet resistance, ASTM D4329 UV testing and ASTM B117 salt-spray testing.
• Adjustable rear/logo orientation helps maintain proper appearance at different mounting angles.
• Flat-mount tower version intended for a compatible structural surface, rather than the factory clamp-mount version.
• Hertz HTX CLAMP.1 is a separately available optional accessory if a supported tube mounting approach is required.
• Shared/common motor compression-driver technology with FEM-optimized waveguide and controlled directivity.
• Built-in sealed crossover incorporates resettable driver protection.
• Aimed high-frequency projection supports listening well beyond the cockpit.

• RGB lighting compatible with Hertz marine RGB control accessories; color controller not assumed included.

Installation Considerations

• Connect to a marine amplifier with a stable 4-ohm output and continuous power appropriate for the speaker.
• Use marine-grade electrical connectors and protect audio/RGB wiring from tower movement, vibration and abrasion.
• Confirm overhead clearance, structural load rating, mounting fasteners and torque before operating the vessel.
• Feed RGB lighting through a compatible fused 12V control circuit as documented by Hertz.
• Install on a structurally suitable flat mounting area; do not assume a clamp is included in a flat-mount SKU.
