Marine electronics you can trust
DS18 NXL-M5 HYDRO 5-Channel Full-Range & Subwoofer Class D Marine & Powersports Amplifier, 4 x 150W RMS at 4 ohms + 1 x 600W RMS at 2 ohms, IP55
The DS18 NXL-M5 HYDRO amplifier is designed to drive full-range speakers and a dedicated subwoofer with efficient Class D amplification. Its IP55-rated enclosure and variable audio adjustments make it suitable for boat, UTV, and off-road installations while preserving the distinct power specifications at each load impedance.
Key Features
- High-efficiency Class D output stage supports installation in constrained marine/powersports compartments.
- 4 x 150W RMS at 4 ohms + 1 x 600W RMS at 2 ohms; individual load-specific ratings are listed below.
- Adjustable filtering supports speaker protection and system tuning.
- IP55 water-resistance classification; corrosion-conscious electrical installation remains essential.
- Integrated power, protect and clipping status indication and protective circuitry.
- Four full-range channels and a separate subwoofer channel allow speakers and bass to be powered from one amplifier chassis.

Installation & System Integration
Provide a dedicated fused battery feed sized to the amplifier power demand, a short solid ground, sufficient mounting clearance and serviceable signal wiring. Connect each channel only to a supported speaker impedance. Bridged ratings require the specified 4-ohm load. Tune gain and active filters with the system playing cleanly rather than using gain as a volume control. Keep wiring, terminals and mounting points protected from saltwater and prolonged water immersion.
Compatibility
Use with 12V marine/powersports audio systems and speakers wired to meet the manufacturer-listed minimum impedances. Monoblock models drive subwoofer loads; multi-channel full-range/subwoofer models provide independent speaker and bass outputs.
